Privacy policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

myLista is a grocery list app for iPhone, made by me, Dimitris Afentakis. This page says what happens to your data when you use it. The short version: nothing leaves your phone.

What the app collects

Nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and the app never connects to the internet. I can’t see your list, your notes or anything else you do in it.

What stays on your phone

To work, the app saves one small file on your iPhone. It holds:

  • What’s on your list and what you’ve ticked off
  • The notes you write on products
  • The days you bought each product, for your history
  • Products and categories you added, renamed or reordered
  • Your last few searches
  • Whether you’ve been through the welcome screens

Backups

Like every app’s data, that file is part of your iPhone backup, in iCloud or on your computer, if you have backups turned on. Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy, not me.

Permissions

The app doesn’t ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or notifications, and doesn’t use any of them.

Other companies

There is no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code in the app. It uses one small open-source library, Pulsar, to play haptics, and it runs entirely on the phone.

If you chose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may send me anonymous crash reports and usage numbers. You can turn that off at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and everything it saved goes with it. Clearing your list inside the app keeps your purchase history, so deleting the app is the way to remove all of it.

If you email me

If you write to afentakis@offload.studio, I get your email address and whatever you send. I use it only to reply, I don’t add you to any list, and I’ll delete our emails if you ask.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.

This website

This site has no cookies and no analytics. It’s hosted on Vercel, which, like any web host, processes basic request data such as IP addresses to serve the pages and keep them secure.

Changes

If this ever changes, for example if a future version needs a server to share lists, I’ll update this page and the date at the top before that version ships.
